If you are using a new cell line not in C-UP you will need to also specify the appropriate cell type. Find the parent term to use as the correct cell type using the OLS “subclass of” section. So, for example if you were adding HeLa cells you would type “HeLa” in the OLS search bar: https://www.ebi.ac.uk/ols/index and then go to the BTO (if there is no BTO term use the appropriate EFO term, if no EFO term look for the appropriate CLO term) term page. On the right-hand side is a box with term relations. Use the “is a sub-class of” relationship to choose the cell type term (shown below).
