The BioGRID provides several file formats for download via our download (reached by clicking on downloads in the menu above) page. Each file format is outlined below with information on what types of information is available in each column and situations where you might want to use each.

=== Recommended File Formats (recommended for all new projects) ===

  * [[Osprey Custom Network Version 1.3.1]] - Files with the extension OSPREY
  * [[BioGRID Tab Version 3.0]] - Files with the extension TAB3
  * [[psi_mitab_file|PSI MITAB Version 2.5]] - Files with the extension MITAB
  * [[biogrid_ptmtab_ptmrel|PTMTAB/PTMREL 1.0]] - Files with the extensions PTMTAB/PTMREL
