====== BioGRID Multi-Validated (MV) Datasets ======
BioGRID multi-validated datasets (MV) contain physical interactions that pass a specific set of criteria. This criteria is outlined below:

==== Multi-Validation Criteria ====
A physical interaction with participants **A** and **B** with a specific **Experimental System** and **Publication Source** is considered multi-validated if:

  - There is another physical interaction in BioGRID where **A** -> **B** or **B** -> **A** with the same **Publication Source** but a different **Experimental System**
  - There is another physical interaction in BioGRID where **A** -> **B** or **B** -> **A** with the same **Experimental System** but a different **Publication Source**
  - There is another physical interaction in BioGRID where **A** -> **B** or **B** -> **A** with a different **Experimental System** and a different **Publication Source**

Genetic interactions are excluded and physical interactions not passing this criteria are excluded. All interactions passing this criteria, including both the querying and the validating interaction are included. Also, the following datasets were combined and treated as one dataset to prevent self-validation.
